Who you are

A Scala Developer with at least 2 years of experience:

 

– Excellent actionable knowledge in Scala Programming;

– Experience with MongoDB or similar noSQL database;

– Experience with AWS (EKS, S3, lambdas, API Gateway) appreciated;

– Experience with docker and Kubernetes appreciated;

– Experience with Akka (Akka Http, Akka streams, Akka Actors..) appreciated, experience with Cats is a plus

– Ability to participate in code reviews and follow code quality best practices;

– Experience in a SaaS company is a plus;

– Team player, upbeat, adaptable, positive attitude;

– Fluent in French & English appreciated.

What you will do

You will be working on our RUMO product. We are looking for a Scala expert who is willing to :

 

– Develop new functionalities for our products in line with the defined methodology and quality criteria;

– Ensure the maintenance (improvements, bug fixes, etc.) for existing functionalities;

– Ensure the quality of the code of the team by conducting tests and code reviews;

– Contribute to the deployment and maintenance of the technical infrastructure;

– Participate in the functional and technical design of the new product functionalities;

– Participate in the integration of new customers and ensure the maintenance of existing integrations;

– Ensure that the technical documentation associated with the solution is complete (specs, design diagrams etc.);

– Provide a functional description of development results to support the acceptance process handled by the QA team, and process acceptance feedback;

– Suggest functional and technical evolutions (architecture, technology, etc.) to meet Spideo’s current and future needs;

– Participate in ceremonies organized as part of the agile work methodology.
